Crystal Matrix II is a dramatic installation of light, sounds and crystals, which will be unveiled at Design Miami on 29 November 2011.
This experiential work was designed by LED artist Erwin Redl in collaboration with Swarovski Crystal Palace.
Crystal Matrix II is a meditative space that encourages the viewer to explore the sensory effects of crystal. A maze of 16 kinetic modules that rotate on a disk suspended from the ceiling make up the installation.
The crystals that are displayed on these disks are illuminated by floating multi-coloured LEDs, with a colour and sound sequence that is constantly changing.
Dazzling crystals that appear to levitate in the room, radiating light and musical tones, work together to create a multisensory experience.
Design Miami runs until 4 December 2011.
