Behind the exhibit

Faith47's first solo exhibition, Fragments of a Burnt History, (previously featured here) at David Krut Projects in Johannesburg, interprets daily life in this bustling city.

And now Rowan Pybus has produced an intuitive short video of the exhibition highlighting its emotive quality. Starting in a forgotten and dusty letterpress studio and moving through the installation of work, the video gives the viewer a deeper understanding of the body of work on display.

Due to popular demand, Fragments of a Burnt History has been extended to the public for another month at David Krut Projects from 15 January to 19 February 2013.
