Paul Sahre on ideas and book design

Our creative cups are constantly being filled, we just need to find ways to tip them over, says Paul Sahre.

Book designer and illustrator Paul Sahre speaks on his wide range of work and what drives his creative process. From his affinity for projects that serve a social purpose, to problem solving, Dunkin Donuts and teaching, Sahre covers his life as a designer and what got him to the Design Indaba stage.

I consider book jacket design as pure of a design challenge as I've ever really encountered, says Sahre

Ultimately very family orientated, he uses experiences such as his brother's death, his childhood fantasies and even cross-stitching with his mother to create visually powerful works of art.
