Sketch book

Karim Rashid's new Sketch book contains some 300 of his conceptual drawings, offering insight into his creative processes.

Sketch is a collection of nearly 300 artworks by Karim Rashid.

Published by Frame Publishers, the book features work from Rashid’s early career to the present day. From experimental drawings to architectural illustrations and computer-rendered artistic explorations, most of the drawings in Sketch were produced for client projects.

In his practice, Rashid’s sketches are the conceptual reference point for all the project development work that he does. In his career Rashid has done thousands of sketches and digital illustrations, all of which offer some visual insight into his creative process.

Sketch contains an extensive index with information about each illustration, including the name, material used to make the illustration, year of production and the name of client. There is also an extensive introduction by Rashid explaining why he loves to draw.
