Toy alligators aren't generally the material for furniture design, but the Campana brothers put these toy reptiles to good use for a new, rather different, furniture collection.
Known for their creative practice influenced by their Brazilian roots, Fernando and Humberto Campana have created a series of chairs and sofas made from stuffed toys resembling an alligator.
The Concepts collection was first designed in 2004 but have recently re-emerged, this time made by underprivileged women around South America.
The collection supports the local community and expresses the vibrancy of the brothers’ South American heritage.
