Past to future

Faith47's latest work, on a wall in the Austrian capital Vienna, is titled "The Immense Gap Between Past and Future".

From the Series

From Gaeta in Italy to Vienna in Austria, Faith47’s been gifting these cities with her creativity.

Recently we featured the "Will You Stay With Me?" mural, which Faith47 did in Gaeta.

Just yesterday she completed a large mall mural in Vienna, titled "The Immense Gap Between Past and Future".

The piece was done as part of an exhibition at the Ernst Hilger Gallery in the Austrian capital.

Titled Cash, Cans & Candy, the exhibition is a celebration of street art, which will run until 14 September 2013. Over 800 square metres of space the work of more than 40 artists will be on displayed. Artists also represented here include Shepard Fairey, Faile, Roa and Robbie Conal.

For Faith47 Vienna is well suited to street art: “What comes to mind when thinking about Vienna is its impressive cultural history, classic opera houses, balls, Sigmund Freud, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and many other artists that influenced art history at large. They cast a big shadow. A shadow in which a flourishing urban art scene had the chance to develop, invisible to the untrained eye.”
