MyLamp is a functional light that can be used either as a desk lamp or as a wall lamp.
Designed by Danish design duo Madebywho, both the construction and aesthetics of MyLamp follow a simple, yet elegant, approach.
The lamp is designed and laser-cut on a single piece of 1mm recycled cardboard, so that the user is responsible for constructing the lamp. Should the demand arise, then MyLamp can be scaled up with stamping processes to allow for mass production.
Madebywho describes their creative approach as one that represents the Danish design tradition but with a “curled twist”. The designers believe that while design solutions should focus on functionality, the fun aspect should not be forgotten.
