Designed to snuggle its user, Patricia Urquiola has designed an armchair and chair taking inspiration from the hood of a garment.
Based in Milan, product designer Patricia Urquiola designed a series of chairs titled Clarissa Hood for furniture brand Moroso. The chairs were unveiled at Milan Furniture Fair earlier this year and proved to be very popular among visitors.
The chairs are composed of a metal tubular frame with a thermoformed polyester fibre shell encasing a generously padded seat. The outer shell and seat are made of contrasting colours, adding a bit of spunk to any environment.
