Wonky bits at London2011

Vanja Bazdulj's Wonky Pots is an exploration into the imperfect nature of design objects.

Wonky Pots by Vanja Bazdulj is a celebration of accidental aesthetics and can be seen at Tent London as part of the London Design Festival.

These vessels highlight the beauty that can be found in the imperfect, the asymetrical and the human. Taking its cue from natural process, like the formation of mountains, Wonky Pots is the result of multiple conditions and accidents. The final design happens by combining different materials and techniques.

Bazdulj uses felted objects as her base and provides a soft platform as a 3D canvas for playing with texture, graphics and different resins.

Challenging preconception of the functionality of design objects, Bazdulj's work takes an interdisciplinary, experimental approach.
