Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have added three colours to their Corniches collection of shelves designed for Vitra.

Whether a key rack beside the door, a soap dispenser, a pedestal for a small collection of objects or a large installation, Corniches offer a new and attractive way to use wall space.

Corniches, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, arose from the need for small storage spaces to keep items.

Being neither regular shelves nor simple horizontal surfaces, the shelves are rather individual, isolated extensions in the environments creates in various homes.

The French design brothers have recently added three new colours to their Corniches shelves for furniture brand Vitra. Opting for dark grey, khaki and orange, the new additions supplement the black, white and Japanese red colour options that Vitra launched last year.

The unique storage system reveals a rounded underside and is made from ASA plastic with a high-gloss finish. The shelves are available in a number of different shapes and sizes.
