The process of wine making is one, which is both enjoyable and rewarding and both scientific and artistic in nature.
Design Academy Eindhoven graduate Sabine Marcelis found that the process of wine making is often a secret one. It mostly happens behind the proverbial “closed doors” because of the equipment that is bulky and aesthetically unappealing.
Marcelis’s “House Wine” project is an all-in-one home brewing installation that brings the living, breathing process of wine making into the home.
House Wine seeks to improve the functionality of the winemaking equipment, while also ensuring that it is an object of aesthetic value.
