#DITakeover on Instagram: Trevor Stuurman

Faultlessly stylish and talented behind the camera, Trevor Stuurman took over the Design Indaba Instagram handle this week. Here’s what he came up with.

Taking over our Instagram account as the fourth guest poster this week was South African photographer, blogger and stylist Trevor Stuurman, who is well-known for his “Stuurman Style Diary” blog.

Stuurman snaps included portraits of recognisable faces in local fashion circles such as Chu Suwannapha and Laduma Ngxokolo. A Cape Town resident inspired by the city, his shots captured popular places such as Long Street, Woodstock’s graffiti-scrawled streets and the colourful beach huts in Muizenberg.

His eye for colour and bold prints gave the Design Indaba Instagram account a different twist this week. Check our IG feed for more images and for this week’s guest poster: grafitti artist Faith47.
