The 10-storey mass-timber building

Developed by the home of GBC’s School of Technology and created by Moriyama and Teshima Architects and Acton Ostry Architects.

What is set to be Ontario’s first mass-timber, low-carbon institutional building - The Arbour is set to create a new way of life through sustainable, green building innovation throughout Canada.

Developed by the home of GBC’s School of Technology and created  by Moriyama and Teshima Architects and Acton Ostry Architects. 

The Arbour is set to provide a multipurpose space for students which will include learning spaces, a research hub and a community space. The project was unveiled in 2018 and has won multiple design awards since its design was released.
