Linked to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, which are now scheduled for 2021, is the Ariake Urban Sports Park.
Located close to the waterfront district and the Athlete’s Village, the open-air track is designed for skateboarding, BMX racing and freestyling and will host the first Olympic skateboarding event.
"This course has been constructed in the Ariake district, which is located in the stunning waterfront area close to the Athletes' Village and the Big Sight venue, which will house the IBC and the MP," reads the project description.
